We had the most amazing session with John! He is an avid golfer, so we went to "his" turf and got some great shots. Not to mention some great exercising as we walked to that "perfect" hole! It was alot of fun and I hope you enjoy your previews John...proofs should be here this week!

Miss Laura...

Here a few peeks at a recent session. Laura was a BLAST!!! Talk about being a natural! She knew just what to do everytime the camera turned her way. It was so much fun! I think we could've spent days photographing her and never got bored. Thanks for being so much fun Laura!!

I have known Laura's mother for a few years now and her entire family is just precious. If you're a student at Muscle Shoals and you haven't met Laura yet, you are missing out!! And that goes for any member of her family. Here again we have another example of the great clients we get to work with and the families who make our jobs so enjoyable.

Okay, so we have been EXTREMELY blessed at Captured this year! Not just with business, but with the most wonderful clients in the world!! Here is just one more example of the great kids we have in our area. Laura is a senior at Deshler this year and a member of their awesome cheering squad. I'm a graduate of Deshler so you know I really love my Tigers! :-) We're hoping DHS has another great year in football this year. They kick off their regular season games next weekend so I'm so ready for some football!

You HAVE to love the shoes!! I really love a great pair of heels (especially since I'm a little "lacking" on the heighth side myself). Heels just make you feel like you are as tall as the rest of the world! lol Well, they do for me anyway. I really love it at the studio when I have on heels and Shana doesn't. I can actually look her IN the eye instead of UP to her eyes! haha

Brook...

Have you ever had those people you meet in your life and you just fell in love with them? And they're the kind of people you feel like are just part of your family. Well, that's what this great senior and her mom were like for me!! I absolutely had a blast with them. We laughed and had all kinds of fun hanging out and getting to know each other during Brook's session. She was fabulous and her mother was so sweet that you just couldn't help but love them! Brook attends Muscle Shoals High School and I can tell you from being around her, she is really one smart kid. Not to mention she is absolutely gorgeous! I wish her all the best in her final year of high school! Enjoy the previews of what's to come!

Meet Princess Lilly....

Meet the newest addition to my family..."Princess Lilly". We just added her to our home about two weeks ago. She is somewhere between 5-8 years old. She was a rescue dog and the lady who had her before us had had her groomed. So when my husband brought her to meet me she had PINK toe nails!! Now, I live in a house surrounded by full blooded boys. Three of them as a matter of fact. Well, 4 if you count my husband! So when I see that I have a female to join forces with me, AND her toe nails were painted pink, how could I pass that up?? She is a real sweetheart too. A little spoiled now, of course, but it feels great to have a similance of a girlfriend in the house with me now. So I obviously had to go out and buy her a cutsie little pink collar. I tried getting her to wear this really cute little sweater, but she was having nothing of it. Oh well, I guess I'll take my pink toe nail polish, pink collar and new comrade in place of cute clothing for her! Welcome to the family Princess Lilly! :-)

Meet Anna, a senior at Muscle Shoals High School. Her proofs should be in at the studio tomorrow, but I wanted to give her a sneak peak from her session. She was such a sweetie!

This is a recent senior we did. She and her sister brought new meaning to the phrase, "awwww, how sweet!" They were so precious together. And aren't they both just adorable???

Emily is also just adorable herself. She has a smile to die for!! And then she's got that sweet personality to go with it which makes her all the more adorable! I love meeting these seniors who are not only beautiful on the outside, but they have it on the inside too. It just makes my job so much greater! Really, I feel guilty that I have such a wonderful job. I mean, I get to photograph all these neat kids from high schools all over the area, and make all kinds of new friends to boot! It really is a blessing to do what I do and it's people like Emily that make it all the more better!

Here are a few pics from a great session we did recently. Meagan is a senior at Deshler High School and boy was she a hoot! She and her cute little doggie "Charlie" made for some great pictures! This had to be the most well trained dog I've ever met. He even sat and posed for pictures and gave us a little smile to boot. Enjoy....

This is a recent session we did with a fun gal from Muscle Shoals High School. Lindsay was alot of fun to work with and she let us have fun playing!! Her pictures are nearly ready for her to view, but in the meantime, I'm posting a couple sneek peeks for you!

Helen Keller Festival

This weekend will mark the 30th year for the annual Helen Keller Festival in downtown Tuscumbia. We are so excited to be right in the midst of all the excitement this year!

If you are out and about this weekend, make sure and stop by the studio for a grand tour! We decided to do our official "open house/grand opening" during the festival. We will be offering special deals for new clients who stop by and book sessions with us this weekend. We have redone our front walls, so we now have all new pictures hanging up front as well. Stop by and take a look at what all we've been doing!

Bellies and Babies!!!

Last night Shana and I attended a wonderful seminar in Memphis led by Sandy Puc of Expressions Photography in Littleton, CO. We had a blast! Sandy is an acclaimed Master photographer who has an amazing studio and her work is outstanding. We were blessed to sit for a few hours and learn all sorts of new tricks and ideas for working with maternity sessions and babies. We can't wait to put it all into practice this upcoming week!!! :-)

The ride home was a treat. It started thundering and raining towards the end of the conference (which was about 11:45pm). We finally got out of there and headed back around midnight. Poor Shana was our brave driver and her poor knuckles clinched that steering wheel all the way home as we made our way through thunder, lightning and heavy torrential downpours of rain!! But, we finally made it back home around 2:30 or 3 this morning!!

I hope to have pics up on here from some recent senior and baby sessions soon. Bear with me while I get used to this whole blogging thing!! lol
